Just a tiny ad for our IT store.
We’ve had big important customers since the late 1600’s.

…here standing for character designs, which I have finally done and scanned. Well, these artsy fartsy images are one thing, and the real detailed design sheets are another, and this blog will never see the latter - any way, try and enjoy these cops, robbers, geeks and hippies. <3
Photobucket’s full of trojans today.
Okay okay okay.
We’ve changed classes. We’ve gotten realistic about how much work we can do. We’re backing away from all kinds of stuff we would love to do. We are trying to get an apartment. We’ve changed into Firefox only. We’re trying to find a new apartment. (Or rather an old one.) We’ve started talking about ourselves in the 3rd.
For some reason, with Firefox the “search” box doesn’t quite cover the parts it was supposed to. We’re still pg13 though.
There’s still trouble with the timestamps of the last 3 or so images I uploaded - I doubt I will get to correcting that very soon. And does it even matter? No. It doesn’t even matter.
The IT-store is opening 22.01.07, and Åbot moves into full scale production as soon as we get ourselves organized. I’m trying to get a job for march and april. Oh, and for june, july and august too. But for those I’d have to be paid. I think I’ll put my CV here.
And on a more personal note, the most important thing in my life;
This week, I’m getting my digipiano.
I was just waiting for them sofa-carrying guys to appear.
Around two-three-four, they said, and appeared at five-six, so I had plenty of time to doodle and watch graduating people go by.
YES!
It’s all really happening.
Seems all my projects are big and time-consuming at the moment, from my personal ones (around the graphic novel area)and a short animation (I have a script and music for but no time) to the mobile game and all. But my favourite project for these past two months has been, no doubt, the IT store.
Yeah, Dimensio Co-Op is opening a small shop downstairs. It’s a huge building with thousands of people in and out every day, with places selling the most essential wares for all of us nowhere in sight, so we even expect a few customers.
No great income though, but hey, it’s all for school credits.
And the reason I’m ecstatic over it is that it might very well be the first IT store I’d really enjoy being a regular customer in. We really, really spend time, creativity and resources for the interior design. All things bright and beautiful: shiny dark wood, warm yellow light, bright intense graphics and all - and most importantly, the shop will be alive. Ha ha! Top that.
Not much to see there yet, but at least we have a spiffy countdown thingie at dimension.fi.
Maybe I’ll get to hang some of my drawings on the walls. >:–D
Oh yes, I’m afraid I don’t expect to be updating much here until the store opens in january.
Yesterday was our first project meeting for this semester.
Lots of new faces, tutors, important looking computer savvy people. I was asked to say a few words about the game concept, and I did, they were “Mmmrguh?” and “Iiiit’s… like sci-fi but not.”
For the second time in one day, people assumed that I was a roleplayer and a LARP enthusiastic. XD Please stop. I’ve been to five *cough* three games in my life.
I’m giving a proper presentation about the general idea and graphic style next week.
I’m positively hyped about the project again, which is weird, because my burning hate for cellular phones has not diminished one bit since last spring. At least this time I’m relatively sure that I won’t end up trying to program everything together myself. We have three killion miles of graphics to create. Yay for games!
