Changes in plans

I’m currently working on my thesis, and I’ve finally decided to put the real Regicide aside while I work on a series of shorter stories I call Footnotes.

Footnotes will include fabels, religious myths and legends and whatnot, all still part of the world of Regicide - but not included in the real storyline. If a character passes my heroes by and tells them where to go, there’s scarcely need for me to explain the background of said character or their cultural inheritage. Vaguely humorous everyday happenings of the almost pointless sidekicks fall into this category. To be honest, these little comic strips are still every bit as valuable to yours truly as the neverending graphic novel project.

So, I shall put together the future site for Regicide using these bits and pieces. When I finally start uploading pieces of the Regicide storyline, I will probably consider making viewers create a user account, and maybe even beg for a little money for the opportunity to participate in the creating process of what will eventually be the best story ever writa graphic novel.

And here’s a way too colorful example of a random passer-by.

What am I doing? First I put in tons and tons of color and then I put a saturation layer on top of it all, turning everything down to zero.

I need to get me a colorist and an inker.
Finished, big-ish, 1st half of a two-part character design doodle.

Snowing

I know what he’s doing. You don’t XD
Oh, and in case this picture looks odd, he’s sitting on some kind of a… hairy animal?

Pencil, photoshop and boredom.
